Guideline on how we build your Dustin connection via Onetrail.




Dustin has chosen to partner with Onetrail to help connect all suppliers product data into the Dustin webstore. 
Onetrail has over twenty years of experience in product data integration and will help you connect to Dustin. 

We offer three options to connect to the Onetrail platform for Dustin: 

Option 1: Product Manager Standard with sFTP upload
Option 2: Product Manager Comfort
Option 3: Product Manager Premium


Sign your contract with Onetrail 
From or sales department you receive per email a “Welcome to Dustin Connect” document together with an Onetrail Service Agreement and Onetrail General Terms and Conditions. Decide which type of connection you prefer and sign the contract.

When we receive your signed contract, we start setting up your connection. This route is different for each of the three options we offer. 


Option 1: Product Manager Standard with sFTP upload


Option 2 and 3: Product Manager Comfort and Premium

Step 1: Create your file

All product data you want to make available to Dustin must be collected in an Excel file. As the basis for this you use our standard Excel file: "Product Manager Dustin Tempate". 

This standard Excel file contains a predefined header bar with cells in two different colors; yellow for the required columns and blue for the optional columns. 


Each column comes with specific restriction and demands for the data being added. An overview of all restrictions and demands can be found here. 


Column L needs the Buyer (GLN) number of the Dustin entity to which you are going to make your product data available.

When your product data file is completed in the correct way, you provide it to us by email XXXXXXXXX



Step 2: Test your file

We check and test your product data file in various ways to guarantee that your data is entered correctly into our system.

We will contact you when we discover errors or missing data in your file.

When your file passed the test and is found correct we proceed to step 3. 



Step 3: Share your file

Now that your product data file is approved we move on to the daily automated processing of the file. 

We provide to you by email our Onetrail Server Details. An daily updated version of your product data file must be provided on this server location. Onetrail will arrange and schedule an daily automated pick up of your product data file. 

When this daily data sharing works well, we'll give Dustin a heads up. 



Step 4: Activate your connection 

After our heads up, Dustin checks whether your product data is actually being provided via Onetrail to their IT-systems.

When this turns out positive you will receive an confirmation from us by email that your Product Manager + sFTP connection for Dustin is officially up and running!

Dustin will let you know when your old product data sharing can be discontinued. 



Step 5: Update, monitor and maintain your connection


Provide a daily update

Dustin demands actual product data of her suppliers. You provide this with To comply with this you provide a daily update of your product data file to our sFTP.


Reporting alert

Onetrail monitors your product data flow and will let you know with an reporting alert when any irregularities occur.

This report alert is sent by email to your technical contact person.
